In a very short period of time, ACIETEC was involved in the construction of a school building consisting of 21 classrooms, including 8 kindergarten classrooms on the first floor and 13 elementary classrooms on the first and second floors. In addition to the school service, the building houses two leisure centers and two libraries. At the entrance, the building offers a vast agora with 250 seats for shows and other events. The marriage between this heritage dimension and the modernity of the classrooms and other educational modules required the use of a plethora of different materials between the exteriors and interiors, with the use of noble materials such as stone, slate, etc., not to mention the many architectural details to be realized such as cornices, locks and moldings reminiscent of the Haussmann style. The spaces were designed as artist’s studios, with large glass openings to promote the intake of natural light. And inside, the realization of curtain walls, mesh guardrails, the use of stained concrete, the creation of a huge patio and a metal cap.
